"ENCANTADORA"

This painting has been one that I've thought about doing for some time; (and now seeing the result; might enjoy painting this beautiful child many times!)

Several years ago; my wife and spent a week at a fantastic, small "resort " (really just a two level boutique hotel)- off the beaten tourist corridor; called "The Bungalows"  in Cabo San Cucas.  A truly beautiful place, built in a mission style; overflowing with tropical flowers , trees, and warm, welcoming staff who treated us as family!   It was awesome.    Incredible breakfasts (with some of the BEST coffee that I've EVER had, served on the tiled covered patio.

Amazing. The owner and I were chatting ; and after finding out that I was an artist; told me about her beautiful grandaughter. We arranged a photoshoot one day;.. and it was wonderful.!

I'm so glad that I've painted this.  More soon.   Thanks for visiting.

This is a fabulous painting, Scott! The subject matter is a departure from your norm with the painting style all yours and so recognizable. WOW! I am also intrigued by the shape of the cross I see to the left of this beautiful child. Looking forward to seeing what you create next.

It's an absolute beauty. The way girl is holding the fruit, innocence on her face, her tied hair. Its majestic.
I agree with your point that you must paint this beautiful child many several times. I will be waiting for your next creation.

Scott: I was just introduced to your paintings by Gini Crepps. Wow, just enjoyed your website and signed up for your November Rocklin class!

Love ENCANTADORA! I have loved the painting "Mexican Boy" by Nicolai Fechin now Encantadora is a new favorite. They are similiar.
Looking forward to meeting you.
